SANTA :)

So Maddy has a new obsession and that's right it is Santa lol. For the last month all we have been watching and hearing about is the big jolly fellow. I attribute this to us mailing her binkies to him back in November. lol. In fact last night she explained to me that she was going to ask Santa for them back next time we seen him, my child is only 2, where does she come up with this stuff. :) Due to her obsession we have watched every Christmas movie imaginable this year :). This made me happy, as i love love love them but everyone else not so much :). We also went to see him 2 times. The first time she had breakfast with him and was super excited to be able to give him a hug when we left. The second time was at bass pro back home. We waited in line for an hour and when we were next she ran up to him screaming SANTA! I had to run and grab her because the little boy ahead of us was not done yet lol. Finally she was very excited to leave him cookies and milk, we even left the reindeer carrots. When she woke up Christmas morning she was so excited that he ate them and kept asking me why. lol. Tonight she asked if we could leave him cookies again, i had to explain he only came once a year and she was devastated. :)

Halloween !!!!!

Well Halloween has come and past. Madison was dressed like pooh bear and loved every minute of it. She could not wait until she was able to put her costume on and go trick or treating. She did very well this year and said trick or treat when she went up to the houses. We only made it to 15 or so houses before she was ready to go home but that's okay. Here are some pics of the night :)

Apple Picking :)

About a month or so ago we went to Lynds Fruit Farm and picked apples. While we were there we had a wonderful time and Madison and Jason ate lots of apples. We took our doggy, daisy, with us and she did such a good job. I am very happy that my crazy puppy is finally starting to act reasonable lol. Here are a few pics below :)

My Baby is 2 :( :)

Well it happened Madison turned 2 on the 27th or october. It seems like only yesterday I was going to the hospital to have her. so much has changed sense then. our house, my job, and simply life in general. Her party went well. It was very simple this year just a lot of family and few of my friends. She had a blast painting pumpkins with her bestest friend ella.

My child at two.....
1. can talk in sentences
2. can run around like a crazy person
3. still uses a binky :(
4. loves to read books ( in fact is begging me now)
5. eats like a champ
6. prefers veggies over meat any day.
7. is very immaginative and playful.
8. is developing a crazy personality
9. sings twinkle twinkly, abc's , and the skinermarink song
10. is the most beautiful little girl ever.

Life

So everyone out in blog world I have learned something very interesting over the last 3 months, life gets a hold of you with all its excitement and changes and you forget to update your blog. :) Any who, I will really try to be more diligent but cannot make any promises :). I will make a few posts the first being a real fast picture recap of the wonderful summer we have had. Jason and I are both teaching for Columbus and as this is my first year in the classroom it can be hard to find extra time to update but I will definitely try.

a friend needs our prayers :(

My good friend in columbus just lost her father in law last night due to a massive, unforeseen heart attack. I am asking for everyone to pray for her and ex husbands families during their grieving process. Due to the fact that they are recently divorced she is unable to really grieve or spend time with family to help her through this awful loss so i kidnapped her today. The kids were able to play together and have a good old time. It amazes me everyday how big are little ones are getting

Although they love each other they are still kids lol. Maddy tried to steal Ella's seat lol and she did not appreciate that. Granted Ella sat in time out but this pic was priceless. Maybe Maddy will learn to share lol.
